Taxation Frank :: Allergies

After feeding the cat, she felt perhaps her endless troubles would cease.
The problem with Taxation Frankie and her mother's allergies of
course would not disappear as easily as all that. But she hoped that the
decision to get out of bed one more day would head off the inevitable. She
knew in the long run that the cat would have to go. A cat as evil and
menacing as this cat was would be hard to come by again.

She knew the cat had been the family's bread and butter for ages upon
ages. That the law had been handed down in the family and obeyed not
simply because of respect but out of fear. The fear of the cat.

She was glad she got out of bed. She could hear her mother wheezing down the hall. Taxation Frankie lived yet another day.
